Squeaky Wheel Marketing was established in 2003 based on involvement with drag racing and About.com's 4 wheeldrive and offroading site. Founded basically on two principles:

1. We are involved primarily in website development and content management. A large part of our work centers around the automotive and motorsports industry, though not exclusively.
2. Many individuals and companies want and need marketing help. Yet, their needs go unmet. Thus, becoming the squeaky wheel - needing the grease.

Making the decision to only chase those things which are 'passion' based is what makes us tick and -- ultimately what makes it fun to work with us.

If it's the history behind Squeaky Wheel Marketing that interests you, I guess we'll just have to sit down and share some stories. For those who know -- or want to know -- it all starts with "two sticks of butter and a Hooters girl". It's not as crazy as it sounds... ask me sometime.

Who's In Charge Here?...
Jim has always been an entrepreneur in spirit -- from starting his own printing company at the age of 25 to repeatedly finding ways to incorporate his creativity, ideas and unique eye for marketing campaigns into his paid jobs, and at home. He's a problem-solver whose many years in sales (since the age of 13) have made him completely fearless of rejection and forever challenged by closed doors.

He knows the printing and publishing business like the back of his hand, because he's lived it for the bulk of his adult years. Yet he seeks the challenge and thrives on the success of tackling the unknown. He's self-taught in HTML, php, asp and all forms of computer know-how, and he has a constant burning desire to learn new things.

Jim is a "tinkerer" by nature... someone who likes to get under the hood, and take things apart in order to understand how they work. So he's perfect for handling the behind-the-scenes coding and scripting of your website. He has this uncanny ability to remain calm and devoted even when he's tackling the most difficult of projects, and most others would have called it quits!

Support Staff...
If such a position actually existed, the "executive secretary" for the Squeaky Wheel office would be Lynnette. She helps with all the little details of this biz (...including keeping Jim FOCUSED on a day-to-day basis!)

Proficient in HTML and all forms of computing, Lynnette works (and plays) 24/7 in front of a computer screen -- with the minute details of day-to-day life being organized, categorized, researched, and filed in some way within a computer.

Lynnette is probably best known for her creative organizational skills. If you ever want to know the best way to get something done, ask Lynnette. Better yet, if you ever want to find a way to use something other than for its intended purpose... ask Lynnette! She hangs her hat on the motto: "Think outside the box". And she always adds her own unique twist to a project in the end.

She's highly spontaneous and she thrives on spur-of-the-moment adventurous activities, but it is Lynnette's "think outside the bun" mentality that keeps every project fun. She thrives on new challenges. (...and she likes Tacos too!)
